Start with the story

Read this out loud before the first clue. It turns “go find some cards” into a mission.

A Royal Proclamation

Hear ye, hear ye, Knights & Princesses!

By order of the King and Queen, a royal quest has begun! Our playful pet dragon, Sparkle, flew through the castle this morning and scattered the Crown Jewels all over the kingdom.

Sparkle left behind eight royal decrees. Each one has a rhyming riddle that tells you where the next jewel is hiding.

A true knight or princess is brave, kind, and helps their friends. Work together, follow every clue, and restore the Crown Jewels to the royal court!

The first royal decree is attached. Long live the quest!

By royal decree,
The King and Queen

Hear ye, hear ye, brave knights of the land!
The Crown Jewels are scattered, we need a hand!

Now on to the next one, the best quest we’ve had!

The very last jewel, the Royal Crown Prize,

Yes. Pick spots in every room and zig-zag between them. The apartment trail below uses eight spots every apartment has.
